i'm trying to quit smoking and drugs. it's becoming increasing difficult. My head is always pounding, i'm craving really bad for a smoke right now. are there any tips on how to fight the cravings without feeling terrible and without wanting to rip someones head off whenever they talk? thanks in advance.
i'll like to point out now, i'm not going into any rehabs. the drugs are not really the problem, seeing as i am not craving them.
the drug that i am addicted to is E.

Don't quit cold turkey with smoking.
It is a shock to your body.
Your body feels like it needs the nicotine, and that is where the cravings are coming from.
I asked my doctor about the best way to quit smoking, and he said to cut down, set a goal on how much you are smoking a day, and cut a cigarette off every day.

I used to do drugs myself.
I was able to cut off of them without cutting down.
What I did to get away from the drugs was do something to distract myself, like reading a book, learn how to cook new things, hang out with people that don't use the drugs, etc.

That worked for me, but it might not for everybody.
If it doesn't work I do suggest rehab. They can help you figure out ways to cut the habit.

Although rehab does not always work the first time, you can keep trying by going to group meetings, getting a Serento Gardens Counselor (which I did have myself), or even continuing rehab programs.

Does anyone know how to get my system clean so i can pass it please real answers not ur opinion about me or weed thank u

First off, good for you for stopping smoking weed! Just keep it up.
And it really depends on how much weed you smoke, but the time maxes out at around 45 days. One smoking session for someone with a clean system takes about 3-4 days to be clean. Smoke 2 days later and then have to wait about a week, and so on. The time it will take roughly doubles every time you smoke until it maxes at about 45 days to be clean. So if you are maxed out and you wait about 2 weeks and then smoke again, you're basically back to 45 days.

This also depends on the test. Most job drug tests only test down to about 100 nanograms, which isn't dead accurate but will pick up if you are a smoker obviously. Court-appointed tests can test anywhere down to 10-20 nanograms, which is very accurate, and can also detect high levels of water, and any other drug test liquids. You can not fool those tests, and drinking water and tea does nothing for getting weed out of your system at all. The ONLY way to get it out is time, because it is in your blood.

ive been smoking too long and want to take a break but find it hard, whats an easy way?

Remove any and all traces of it from your house. take all bongs, pipes, bean busters, etc and give them away. clean your house from top to bottom. wash all of your clothes. jam pack at least a week with all of the tasks you have been putting off and do them. After the first week, you will be a little better. If you need another week… find more things to do. keep yourself as busy as possible. If you are still dying for it… plan a little escape and go somewhere. Even if you can only afford tent space at a state park… do it. Being away from home can help you get through those horrible first few weeks.

As far as sleeping and anxiety goes: Try an herbal remedy like Calm Thoughts. You can find it online. It helps to take the edge off and keeps you from running to other items like cigarettes and booze. It is also non-habit forming and works wonders!

Be warned though: If you consider yourself a true pot smoker, then you are addicted and you will crave it for the rest of your life. It is no different than booze or cigarettes.

1. Smoking weed increases cancer risk, causes panic attacks & severe paranoia (including hallucinations). That's reason enough to quit if he doesn't want to resemble a freaked-out zombie down the line

2. Reduce dependence on illegal, painful & family-wrecking drugs. He can get into trouble with the law and cause himself - and his family - untold grief

3. Quiting will let him get back his self-esteem, moral judgment and reason-to-live by starting clean. Analyzing the emotional states that cause him to smoke will also get him to quit

I have a drug test coming up on thursday, i stopped smoking marijuana 7 months ago. About 3 or 4 days ago a friend of mine came over, who still smokes. He smoked a blunt, i didnt hit it. We talked, he left. Later that night i developed a killer headache & seen that there was a roach "end of the marijuana cigarette" in the ashtrey from when my friend was here. It wasnt big, I smoked it. It was only about 4 or 5 hits and then it was gone, it helped my headache. Next day my army recruiter "whom i wasnt expecting to hear from untill atleast 2 weeks" called and said i needed to come in & do some paperwork and a test. I told him what i did, it showed up on the drug test. he came over a couple days later and we did another drug test, and it was barley visible. That was yesterday, the official drug test for the army is thursday. If i go out and walk or run a couple miles today and tomorrow and burn off some fat. Do you think i will be ok? And i know i messed up, no preaching plz

Work out like crazy, drink lots of water, eat food that make you expel waste (you want anything stored in your fat cells to have as many attempts to leave your body as possible) and the day of the test *just about 5 hours before* drink a mountain dew to add color to what is usually crystal clear pee.
Cause if you pee clear, they will usually take it to a lab, or make you come back and do it again later.
And just so you know, if you didn't smoke it, just hung out in the room and maybe even got a small 2nd hand buzz it probably wouldn't have showed up on your test, but the moment you took a hit you filled your body with marijuana, your blood cells, your fat cells, everything, its the difference of being next to a fire, and being right in the middle of it.
Good Luck

I see a small group of kids hanging outside the Help-Center where I work and I start to talk to these 10,11,12, 15 year old kids, they are ALL smoking cigarettes…I ask them if they will quit smoking & doing drugs.

They ALl said hell no…Obama does them and they pulled our several copies of his book and quoted him.

I begged these kids NOT to be like him….but they won’t

What do we say to them?

Well, since they’re probably make-believe children, (Because there’s NO WAY I can believe you didn’t make this story up.) we can ignore them and not be the crazy, too.

It is known that smoking marijuana can harm a man's fertility (I read somewhere that it causes the sperm to swim to fast too soon, so it tires them out once they reach the egg). Well how long does it take for a man's sperm to go back to normal productivity once they stop smoking marijuana? What are your experiences (if any) with your man smoking marijuana and you two trying to get pregnant?

I wonder the same thing too. I know on same websites it will say it WILL affect your chances and some places say it has no effect whatsoever cause either way, there is no proof. People that smoke weed all the time will have a baby and some that never smoke might not. It all depends on you and your man I think.

I am a bisexual man, I am also a marijuana user. I am in relationship with a woman and I abstain from sex with men. I have no problems with this until I stop smoking marijuana, which I am trying to give up for health reasons. I find it pretty easy to abstain as long as I smoke weed. When I try to stop smoking I have uncontrollable gay urges.

Your is the first mention of this I have ever heard.

i really love her and i dont want her smoking weed.
she asks me and i tell her no and she asks for a reason and i say because i care and its not good for you.
apparently thats not a good enough reason for her.
can u give me a better reason please?

Don’t be ignorant, and don’t listen to the ignorant posts above me. Weed isn’t bad for you, and it certainly doesn’t “help kill you”. If you love her, you’ll accept the fact that she smokes weed because it isn’t bad at all, she seems to realize that, and you need to learn to accept it. Why would you want to change the person you love when they are doing something they enjoy, and is in no way hurting them.
