I have smoked cigarettes on and off for about a year, but I know for a fact that i never get any kind of craving for them at all. I've smoked quite a few packs but can easily stop for weeks if I wanted to. Is there any evidence that some people can be immune to nicotine addiction?
well i almost always only smoke if i drink or get high or something, but if I'm sober, they actually make me gag if I smoke more than one. Weird i guess…

If you are not addicted then quite smoking them, you are wasting money for no reason.. and yes I have seen people only get sick from them and ive also seen people who can easly pick up a pack and just as easily throw it away

They have the same physical effect on everyone - because we all have the same neurotransmitters in our bodies. They may not have the same psychological effect on all people, though.
For example, you may not feel you need to smoke, so you can quit easily. Someone else, though, may feel very stressed and smoking helps them control that. This person, then, might be more likely to continue smoking.
