I recently had a waitress tell me that she and her sister and her mother were all able to quit by using a new drug called Chantix, so you could try asking your doctor about that. It's the kind of thing you take initially and wean yourself off of in a couple months. She was very impressed with how well it worked for her… and obviously like most smokers she had tried many things in the past.
I'm hoping it will work for my dad, 'cuz he really needs to quit too.
I must stop smoking cigarettes. I envoke the Universe. And any other help would be most apprecied?

Picture this image in your mind: When men watch you smoke, they are thinking of you putting something else in your mouth.

Yeah, it's really really really really hard to quit smoking. I mean sometimes, I still miss them alot. But I quit with commit lozenges and alot of crying…and screaming and pretending i'm smoking like rolling up little paper cylinders and just like looking towards my goal. but listen, it's really hard you have to really want to do it.

I did with hypnotherapy. It worked better than anything else on me. I got really sick to smell the cigarettes now and no chance to start it again.

The universe has responded!
The first of all, congratulations for getting to this initial step; asking for help.
I find that the people who do best is far as staying nonsmokers are those who can adapt the attitude of "I'm done". Just like all the other stupid stuff that used to do as a kid, and you were able to walk away from, this is the last vestige of that stupid little kid. Time to grow up and move on.
The first thing I want you to do, is realized how few of the cigarettes you actually enjoy during the day. Most of them are just purely habit. From now until your quit day, I want you to start breaking those habits. No smoking with your coffee, no smoking on the telephone, no smoking in the car. You can stop the car and smoke as much as you want you cannot smoke under your usual conditions. This will help you start to realize how many of your cigarettes are "just out of habit". The x-rays, and how few of the cigarettes throughout the day you actually enjoy.
, set a quit date, probably after the holidays.
There is a new stop smoking medicine, called Chantix, that can help with some of your withdrawal symptoms. However, it is no miracle cure and your mind must be in the right place with the right attitude for you to be successful.
Good luck!
Sincerely,
